D.A. Pupa

My mom & dad were high school sweethearts in the 1950's. Amidst bobby sox and dance hops, the cheerleader and basketball star got married. I came next, followed by my sister, Lisa and brother, Frank. We were all born in Wilkes Barre General Hospital, which is in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Our family later moved to Europe, then to Long Island and finally the Jersey Shore, which has been our home ever since.

 

Over the years, I've established some great friendships in the various places I've lived, maintaining lifelong connections from all walks of life and my large extended family are the closest bunch of people I know. I feel so fortunate and lucky to have such a wonderful network of people stitching together the fabric of my life.

For many years, I worked on Wall Street as a stockbroker. This was an extremely exciting time as I experienced the world of high finance in the Big Apple. Post 9/11, I decided on a career change and went back to school to become a psychotherapist.

 

I currently have a private practice in Sea Girt, NJ and am now a first time author. My second novel will hopefully follow sometime next year. In the meantime, I'm enjoying married life with my wife, Lisa and our Labradoodle, Dela. The beach, music, reading and "New York Jets" are a few of my passions.
